RTX 5070 vs RTX 5080
Where the 5070 is the sweet spot — and when the 5080’s extra horsepower is worth the jump.

The RTX 5070 targets high-refresh 1440p and entry 4K with DLSS 4. The RTX 5080 is built for consistent 4K ultra settings and heavier creative workloads.
Expect roughly 30–40% more raster performance on the 5080 in many titles, with a larger gap when ray tracing and path tracing are enabled.
If your monitor is 1440p 144Hz and you enable DLSS, the 5070 is usually the better value. If you own a 4K OLED or do Blender / AI locally, the 5080 pays off sooner.
